Carolina Alvarado Molk is a Dominican writer and researcher.
She earned a Ph.D. in English from Princeton University in 2017, and a dual BA in English and Religion from Brooklyn College (CUNY) in 2008. Her dissertation examines the role of region in American publishing at the turn of the twentieth century.
In 2021 she was a finalist in Fiction for the Sustainable Arts Foundation Award and was awarded New Letters/New Americans Award in 2022. She is an alumna of VONA/Voices and Lit Fest, and is presently at work on a short story collection titled Root, Rot.
Carolina lives and writes in Denver, CO.
